In this we have taken into account the constraints and preferences you have expressed to us.

In the program has been underlined the authors who will make the presentation.

However, in case of a problem I would ask you to let us know asap so we can take the necessary actions.

Chania – Technical University of Crete - Chania

The free bus service will be offered on a daily basis, during the conference. Every day, the bus will depart in front of the Old Market (OM) of Chania at the center of the town, half an hour before the first session of the conference and will leave from the University Campus (UC) half an hour after the last session of the conference. Moreover, on Wednesday, an excursion to Kournas Lake is scheduled and after the morning session, the bus will depart from the University Campus for the excursion. Finally, on Thursday two buses will be offered, one for the morning sessions and one for the dinner of the conference in the afternoon. The meeting point for the dinner excursion to Therissos will be in front of the Old Market of Chania at 18:00. In the following table, inside brackets the departing point of each service is denoted.More precisely:

Public Transportation

No 23 Bus
Chania – Technical University of Crete - Chania

Moreover, the participants may use the public bus service from the center of the town to the Technical University and vice versa. More precisely, the 23 Bus (Chania – Technical University of Crete) time schedule: Starts at 8:45 AM and ends at 7:45 PM every day from Monday – Friday, except weekends. The bus departs every 1 hour from the center of the town, opposite the Old Chania Market (Agora), outside the National Bank of Greece. Buy your tickets from the kiosk or the ticket machine at the departure point (Agora square).The bus line is marked (in Greek) 'ΠΟΛΥΤΕΧΝΕΙΟ' (Technical University).

Alternatively, instead the departure point, you can take the bus from one of the 14 other bus stops in the town, among them, the one in El. Venizelou street (a few meters away from the IRIDA Hotel), from which the Hotels CHALEPA, DOMA & IRIDA are closely located.

One-way ticket cost: (a) from the kiosk or the automatic machine at the departure point: 1.7 euro, (b) inside the bus 2.5 euro.

Stops inside the Campusto reach the Conference Amphitheater (3^rd stop):

(a) 1^st stop: Entrance of Campus,(b) 2^nd stop: Student Accommodation Building, (c) 3^rd stop: Rectorate (School of ECE).

By Taxi

If you select to come to the Technical University of Crete by TAXI, you will arrive from the center to the Campus approximately, in 15 minutes.  The route from the center of Chania to the Technical University of Crete costs around 8 Euros. Your destination will be the Technical University of Crete, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). TheTAXI will stop in the Parking of the School and then you will follow the outdoor stairs to the first floor, where you will find the Amphitheater 141.Π98 as you enter the building. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that has been created.
There was a sudden problem with the security of the bank when we activated delegates' access to the internet through the bank's network (as guests). 

After examining some alternatives and in order to better serve you, we decided to transfer the venue of the Conference from the Bank of Chania to the Technical University of Crete at the venue where the Conference will begin on the first day.

Because the conference venue is outside the city center and you have already booked your rooms, we offer a free bus transfer that will bring you to the conference in the morning and will return you after the end of the daily work in the center of Chania (Old Marketof Chania).

Anyone wishing to move in between can use public transportation to and from the Technical University of Crete.

Information on how to travel to and from the conference area is then provided.

We will be at your disposal for any problem you may encounter.
